miodrag “mekey” guberinic – fashion designer, artist, amazing & beautiful
my dear friend miodrag “mekey” guberinic is a constant inspiration to me. his sheer talent in costume design, fashion design, painting, watercolor, sketching – and the list goes on and on. blows my mind how talented he is. currently commissioned by northwestern university for a masters degree, mekey has done some amazing shows there, wearing many hats including set design, lighting design and costume design. i can’t wait to see the things he does with his career. i predict tony awards and oscar awards in his future.
he and i were introduced through another good friend of mine, jim malone, and asked me to print some of his costume and fashion sketches for a show he had in indianapolis. here are just of a few of the amazing pieces that we printed.
